CHADIS
Learn MoreCHADIS is a HIPPA compliant digital service recommended by the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) to assist primary care clinicians in the detection, treatment and prevention of mental, behavioral and developmental problems in children.
Refilling Your Medications
We are usually able to send presciption refills electronically. There are two ways to request your child(ren)'s medication refill by doing following:
1. Directly contact your pharmacy and have them send a refill request electronically (as an eFax)
2. Send an electronic request through the Patient Portal.
Though most prescription refill requests can be filled within 48 hrs, we ask that you allow
three (3) business days for refills to be processed and sent to the pharmacy.
Referral Management
Learn MoreChildren may experience a range of medical conditions that could benefit from the expertise of a pediatric specialist in a particular field. We emphasize the coordination of all healthcare providers involved in a child's treatment.
Our referral department can send referrals (if required by your insurance), medical orders, or copies of records to specialists and medical suppliers to maintain continuity of care across your provider list.
Patients are responsible for knowing if they need a referral for clinical services outside of our office. We ask that you allow 3 business days for completion of any electronic/written referrals.
Sports Physicals
Learn MoreRegular physicals are an important part of preventative pediatric care. Getting your child an sports physical gives the doctor the opportunity to examine your child, evaluate their health and fitness, and determine whether or not they are prepared for sports or school activities.
Most times a routine well visit for a participating athlete can double as their sport physical. However, when there are specific circumstances requiring completion of a separate sports clearance (e.g. following recovery from injury/illness or based on time requirements set by the sport organization). In some of these cases when a specific diagnosis is not present, then completion of a sports physical may be assessed a $60 charge in addition to a standard forms fee to complete any required documentation.
